Goal 2:  Affordable Homes in Safe Neighborhoods

This goal focuses on “Whole Neighborhoods” with low crime, integrated commerce, and housing with a diversity of income levels. Functional infrastructure with preventative maintenance.

• Blight Elimination –Design and execute a blight elimination strategy that will reduce blight by 25% by 2021
• Integrated Infrastructure Plan - Design and implement an integrated infrastructure plan to communicate, coordinate, integrate, prioritize, and execute infrastructure projects in the City
• Integrated Financing Plan – Design and execute a financing strategy to create pay-as-you-go; state and federal grants; local, state and federal revenue options, and a leveraging strategy to finance infrastructure projects.
