(Jackson, Miss.) – The City of Jackson is proud to partner with Hinds Community College for a workforce development program that is funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. 
 
The development program offers a FREE career certificate in Electro-Mechanical Technology. The program provides individuals with instruction that prepares them to enter the job market in fields such as safety, machinery maintenance, blueprint reading, industrial electricity and controls, fluid power, CAD, and PLC programming. The certificate can be completed in less than a year. 
 
Classes begin in March and transportation is provided. Interested participants must register by February 22.
