(Jackson, Miss.) – Today, the City of Jackson re-opened it’s Vine Street pool specifically for the Jackson State University Football team. With the temperatures on the rise, head coach TC Taylor sought a place for his team to cool off while preparing for next week’s first game. City of Jackson Parks and Recreation Director Abram Muhammed was able to work with staff to get the pool ready within hours for the team. Pizza is also being provided to the players and coaching staff.

“It’s not often that the coaches ask us for help. So when we can provide support for our JSU Athletes, we are honored to do so,” said Muhammed.

The media is invited to stop by. The entire JSU football coaching staff will be on hand, as well as the team from the City of Jackson’s Parks and Recs department.
