City of Jackson GIS Map Requests
Available Maps
Commonly requested maps include:
- Zoning districts
- City Council wards
- Neighborhood associations
- Water and sewer service areas
- Parks and public facilities
- Property boundaries (tax parcels)
If you need a physical map you must submit a GIS Map Request.
Steps to Submitting a Request:
Step 1: Create an Opengov account at the following site Home – City of Jackson, MS
Step 2: Search GIS Map Request
Step 3: Click Apply Online tab.
Please include:
- The type of map you are requesting
- The location or area of interest (address, parcel ID, or neighborhood)
- The purpose of your request (e.g., business license application, planning project, community research)
- Step 4: Complete the steps and submit.
Processing Time
- Standard requests are usually processed within 5–7 business days.
- Large or specialized requests may take longer, depending on staff availability.
