City Services & Rates
Police Department
Mandatory police supervision is required for traffic control and the use of special effects/firearms. Productions are required to provide appropriate timecards and paperwork for personnel compensation.
Requests to the Police Department require a minimum of 48 hours' notice (excluding weekends and holidays), with specific instructions for Monday filming.
Productions must notify the Jackson Film Office directly of any cancellations or schedule changes, and late cancellations may incur fees.
Police Personnel
Sergeants – $65 per hour
Officers – $50 per hour
Guaranteed 6 hours | Time & 1/2 after 8 hours
Equipment
Squad Car – $150 per day – traffic control only, may not be used for picture
The travel with squad car is not included in the guaranteed hours.
Fire Department
Mandatory Fire Department supervision for activities involving public safety, with documentation requirements for personnel compensation.
Fire Personnel
Safety Officer – $65 per hr. (1 per assignment)
Engineer – $50 per hr.
Fireman – $45 per hr.
(Guaranteed 6 hours | Time & 1/2 after 8 hours)
Department of Public Works - Streets & Sanitation
Posting of "No Parking" Signs in Metered or Secured Public Areas:
- Fee: $15 per parking meter per day.
Tow Trucks for Relocation:
- Please contact the Film Office for assistance. Do not make direct calls.
Barricades:
- For assistance, please contact the Film Office.
City Parks and Recreation Facilities
- Park pavilions - $35.00 each
- Community Centers - $400.00 for 4 hours (w/ $200.00 and $50.00 for each additional hour.) $200 will be returned after a successful inspection.
