Councilman Brian Grizzell is a seasoned leader, educator, and consultant with over 20 years of professional experience spanning corporate enterprise, higher education, and municipal governance. As the Founder and Principal Consultant of Brian Grizzell and Associates LLC, he leverages his extensive expertise to provide strategic guidance in leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and educational advancement.​

With a PhD in Applied Management and Decision Sciences and an EdD in Higher Education, Dr. Grizzell is a recognized scholar-practitioner committed to driving positive social change through informed, data-driven decision-making. His research, including his Dissertation in Practice on using the DiSC personality assessment to mitigate employee turnover in higher education, underscores his dedication to innovative workforce solutions.​

Dr. Grizzell has over 15 years of experience in higher education, where he has served as a faculty member, subject matter expert, course developer, and administrator. His expertise in business and education has made him a sought-after consultant for curriculum design, faculty training, and student success initiatives. He also has extensive experience in K-12 education, further enriching his ability to support diverse learning environments.​
