Development Assistance
The Office of Housing and Community Development helps developers, nonprofits and community groups navigate funding, site selection, and permitting for housing and neighborhood projects.
What We Offer:
– Site identification and maps of available parcels.
– Intro to federal funding streams (CDBG, HOME, ESG, HOPWA).
– Coordination with Planning, Code, Public Works, and Economic Development for permitting and reviews.
– Information on local incentives and deal facilitation.
– Referrals to nonprofit partners.

- Prepare a short project summary (site, units, target population, anticipated budget).
- Email OHCD with subject line: Development Assistance Request.
- OHCD routes the request for a coordinated response.
