HOPWA — Housing Opportunities for People With AIDS

The HOPWA program provides housing assistance and supportive services to residents living with HIV/AIDS in Jackson and the surrounding region. OHCD partners with providers to administer rental assistance and related services.

Mission:

HOPWA helps individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS maintain stable housing and access essential services.

Services:

- Tenant-based rental assistance (TBRA)
- Short-term housing support for stabilization
- Supportive services, including case management

Eligibility:

- Applicants must be living with HIV/AIDS and meet income requirements.
- Services are provided through regional partner organizations.
